Rönnbergs Friskolor opened its first preschool in 1993 and now operates 8 preschools in the Stockholm area. We are located in Spånga (Stockholm), Täby, Saltsjö-Boo in Nacka, Taxinge in Nykvarn, and on Ekerö. We have a holistic view of children as global citizens and want our activities to engage the heart, brain, body, and soul of both children and staff members.
We are now seeking a part-time preschool teacher at a small preschool in Nacka. You will work together with childcare assistants in a smaller group of children, where you are responsible for instruction according to the preschool curriculum.
Together with your team, you have great freedom to design education and instruction based on the national guidelines and municipal directives that apply in preschool. We regard it as self-evident that you base your work on the children's interests, needs, and experiences, and that you have the ability to create good relationships with both children and adults you meet.
You must have a preschool teacher education with a credential that gives you the authority to teach in preschool. You should have strong theoretical knowledge from your education and the ability to implement it practically together with your team.
You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. We expect you to have a good understanding of what the assignment entails in its entirety and to be interested in leading and developing the preschool's practice to create the best possible activities for our children. Experience in leading teams and facilitating reflective discussions is a merit.
Personal qualities: You should be positive, flexible, proactive, and able to collaborate with children, parents, and colleagues in an empathetic and responsible manner. You have good communication skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience. It is important that you are responsible, have experience, and personal maturity. You should feel secure in your professional role. You should be able to translate theories into practice and be responsive to children's wishes and needs.
