Our Preschool Our preschool has three age-divided groups. At Villa Villekulla there are 1-2-year-olds, at Lönneberga there are 3-4-year-olds, and at Bullerbyn there are 5-year-olds. The 5-year-old group creates a unique opportunity for a secure and natural transition to preschool class and school. The environment, materials, and activities are adapted as children grow and develop. In this way, children and educators are constantly faced with new and exciting challenges in new learning environments. We place great value on staff-to-child ratios and our small child groups. Your Responsibilities Together with the other educators at the preschool, you will develop, lead, and implement the preschool's mission based on our governing documents and with our vision in mind. As a preschool teacher, you have unique opportunities to influence children's development and learning. The role includes planning, follow-up, and documentation of the work. An important task is to create inspiring and challenging learning environments at the preschool. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for the preschool's pedagogical content and work to promote each child's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a preschool teacher. In the role of preschool teacher, you are empathetic, outgoing, and have a strong ability to establish contact and maintain relationships. We see that you adapt easily to changing circumstances and can quickly adjust your approach based on situation and need. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive processes in the work team together with your colleagues. Furthermore, you have the ability to lead and motivate others in the work group toward common goals and can create engagement and participation.
