Ref: 20261957 Job Responsibilities Katrinelundsskolan's lower primary school is in need of a preschool teacher for one of our new classes in grade one. As a preschool teacher at Katrinelundsskolan, you work in close collaboration with the class mentor, the grade level team, colleagues in the after-school program, and our EHT professionals. You follow the class throughout the entire school day, which includes both support in instruction as well as during transitions and breaks. At Katrinelundsskolan, we meet students with engagement and curiosity, as well as a strong ability to support them in social interaction and learning development. In addition to support during the school day, you participate with the team in the school's quality work and, with support from a speech-language pathologist, have the opportunity to develop skills in alternative and augmentative communication, which you actively apply when working with students. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified preschool teacher and has experience working with complex support needs. You should have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work. You also have good knowledge of didactic and pedagogical tools to develop an accessible learning environment and a view of students that aligns with our values, which are based on the principle that children do what is right when they are able to! You have experience working based on scientific evidence and proven practice, which you apply in your daily work. Additionally, you have good collaboration skills and experience using digital tools.
