About Us The Neuropsychiatry Business Unit is one of five adult psychiatry business units within Sahlgrenska University Hospital. We provide psychiatric care focused on memory-related diseases, Huntington's disease, neuropsychiatry, elderly psychiatry, deaf and hearing-impaired patients, intellectual disabilities, and eating disorders. The units are located in Mölndal and Gothenburg. Round-the-clock care is at Sahlgrenska University Hospital's premises and Högsbo Hospital. Within the operation, we have a research and development unit where extensive research is ongoing. We work with flexibility between clinical work and research-related tasks. Our research unit is continuously expanding and actively participates in care education. We are now seeking a nurse for the clinical trial research group. At the Research and Development Unit, pharmaceutical research is conducted in collaboration with various international and national pharmaceutical companies. The purpose of the research is to develop medications that can prevent dementia development. The Research and Development Unit also includes: Population-based H70 studies, within the research group EPINEP at the University of Gothenburg, which is part of the Center for Aging and Health, AgeCap. H70 Clinical Studies, which is a collaboration between Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the University of Gothenburg and is located at the Memory Clinic and the Huntington's Disease Center. You will receive training in the current study protocol and ICH-GCP, among other things. Job Responsibilities Work as a research nurse in the pharmaceutical studies team involves conducting studies at the unit together with colleagues from various professions and pharmaceutical company representatives. You will perform data collection, take samples, handle samples, test and interview study participants and their relatives. You will also order and distribute study medications or administer injections to study participants. You will enter data into registers (eCRF), communicate with international and national partners, and participate in monitoring (external audits). Travel within Sweden and Europe will occur. About You We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse and has a good ability to work independently, is thorough, positive, and has good collaboration skills. Specialist education in psychiatry is a merit, and experience with clinical trials is a requirement for this position. We appreciate good English language skills, both spoken and written. The clinical foundation year is mandatory and lasts throughout the first year of your employment.
