About Us
Research has been an integrated part of our endocrinology operations for several decades. We conduct successful research on diseases of the pituitary gland, adrenal glands, and thyroid, as well as bone diseases and rare metabolic conditions.
At our research center Endocrine Research Centre in Gothenburg (ERC-GOT), researchers work together with five research nurses/coordinators, research assistants, and research secretaries. Our projects range from small pilot studies to large national and international multi-center studies.
One of our colleagues is now retiring, and we are therefore seeking a new colleague.
About the Job
As a research nurse, you will have a central role in conducting our clinical studies. You will work closely with study participants, researchers, and other team members.
The work includes:
coordination and planning of clinical studies
study visits, examinations, and blood sampling
contact with study participants and external partners
documentation and quality assurance in accordance with applicable regulations
responsibility, together with colleagues, for some of our larger research projects.
Travel to partner organizations and national research meetings may occur.
About You
You are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish and English. You are meticulous and organized, comfortable with independent responsibility, and have a natural ability to collaborate and build good relationships with people.
Experience in clinical research, endocrinology, large clinical studies, project work, or operations development is a merit.
You do not need prior experience in all aspects of the work. We offer orientation and relevant training, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
