Job Responsibilities We are recruiting a research engineer in computational technology. The main responsibilities associated with this position are carried out within the framework of a collaboration with the medical technology company Getinge AB and are funded by Vinnova. A large number of existing computational models will be tested and further developed with a strong focus on evaluation against both synthetic data and patient data from mechanical ventilators (the equipment that saved many people with lung disease during the Covid pandemic). Qualifications Requirements Completed degree at an advanced level (master's) in computational science and computational technology or equivalent competence. Strong knowledge of Python and specifically its libraries for scientific computing, machine learning, graphics, and the use of PyTorch. Merits Experience with time series and basic data processing of this type of data. Experience with programming in Matlab. Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with special focus on gender equality. Good social and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently.
