Do you want to work on improving access to support for families in vulnerable situations? You are welcome to apply for a position as a Research Assistant at Uppsala University. The Department of Women's and Children's Health has a strong multiprofessional and international research environment. We conduct research aimed at improving the health of individuals, both in Sweden and globally. You will work within the research group International Child Health and Nutrition with projects in the subgroup Practice-Based Health Promotion and Prevention in Vulnerable Groups. Responsibilities You will be part of a project group conducting research aimed at increasing knowledge about the needs of and facilitating support for families in vulnerable situations, including families affected by the incarceration of a family member. Your responsibilities are linked to preparation for and implementation of data collection, data management after collection, and compilation and reporting. You will work in a project group with close collaboration on tasks, while also being expected to take high levels of personal responsibility. Qualification Requirements You must have completed education at least at the Master's level in a medical or social science field to be eligible for the position. You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Since part of the work involves handling qualitative data, you must have some experience with this from previous work, for example conducting interviews and to some extent handling interview data (or similar qualitative data). Good collaboration skills are a requirement. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You must have a high degree of attention to detail and experience working from your own or existing structure. Desirable/Meriting Qualifications It is meriting to have analyzed and reported qualitative data. It is also meriting to have previously worked with basic statistics and with evaluations of interventions. About the Position The position is time-limited for 4 months. The position is 75%.
