The Department operates at Campus Sundsvall and Campus Östersund. The Department educates and conducts research in pedagogy, psychology, and social work.
Work Tasks
The Research Assistant will participate in a project in the area of migration and health. The project will evaluate support provided to Ukrainian-, Dari-, and Arabic-speaking migrants with a refugee background. We are seeking an employee with very strong Ukrainian language skills and a psychology degree with experience in providing remote treatment. You will work on translating and adapting educational and intervention materials on mental health as well as providing psychological support to participants.
Eligibility
Those hired as a Research Assistant must be eligible according to the requirements described in Mittuniversitetet's employment regulations.
Eligible to be hired as a Research Assistant in the project is someone who has a degree in psychology or equivalent.
Other Requirements
The position involves psychological work with the target group of Ukrainian-speaking migrants with a refugee background. A requirement for employment is that you have relevant education and experience, as well as very strong ability to speak, understand, and write Ukrainian.
You will also collaborate with team members in the project, which requires very strong ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English.
We work on digital platforms and you must have strong ability to manage complex digital systems.

Assessment Criteria
Relevant education and experience in psychological work with people who have refugee experience. Very strong ability to speak and write in Ukrainian, as well as Swedish and English. Strong ability to manage complex digital systems and work on digital platforms for treatment work.
It is highly meriting to have experience in psychological work with the target group.

Employment will be processed in accordance with Mittuniversitetet's employment regulations.
Employment and Start Date
The employment is a fixed-term position for 12 months comprising 50% of full-time from October 15, 2026 or by agreement, but no more than 360 days.
Work location: Östersund, with the possibility to work remotely.
