The Department of Political Science is a dynamic and strong educational and research institution at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Stockholm University. Duties Data collection and processing for the research project "Explaining Success in Legislative Work in Parliamentary Democracies". Digitization, coding, and analysis of written documents related to election campaigns and the legislative process in Sweden and other countries. Qualifications Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in political science or a similar social science subject. Proficient Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required. Good familiarity with Excel and basic proficiency with the statistical software Stata are also required. A master's degree, documented experience working as a research assistant (preferably demonstrating a high degree of independence), and completion of a course with a grade in advanced quantitative methods are advantageous. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. About the Position The position is either full-time for three months or half-time for six months. Stockholm University applies individual salary determination. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.
