About the position
The Forest Master School in Skinnskatteberg is seeking a researcher in law with specialized expertise in issues related primarily to housing rights, property brokerage and higher education pedagogy. The department offers education for future real estate brokers focused on the sale of forest and agricultural properties. In order to become a certified real estate broker, students must, among other things, study property law, building technology, property valuation, brokerage and housing rights. The researcher will work with, among other things, the following tasks:
Develop scientific expertise and research environment at the department within civil law, with main focus on housing rights and property brokerage.
Course development for housing rights and property brokerage.
Develop pedagogical expertise at the department.
Further development and maintenance of networks and collaborations with academia, industry and society.
Your background
For the position of researcher in housing rights, the holder must have the following knowledge and qualifications:
PhD in law.
Experience as a researcher and in research environments within civil law, specifically housing rights.
Be scientifically skilled in the subject of employment.
Education in higher education pedagogy and experience in developing higher education pedagogical expertise.
Have good leadership qualities and demonstrate ability in social competence.
The applicant who, after a comprehensive assessment of competence and skill, is deemed to have the best prerequisites to carry out and develop the current tasks and contribute to positive development of the operations will be recommended for employment.
About us
The Forest Master School is responsible for SLU's forest master education. The education prepares students for supervisory and advisory tasks within the forestry industry. The first two years of the forest master program are held in Skinnskatteberg. In the final year, students can study at a location of their choice. In addition to education as a forest master, the department also offers distance education for future real estate brokers focused on the sale of forest and agricultural properties. In addition, the Forest Master School conducts, among other things, research on rural development and forest seedlings.
