Efficient investigations and professional customer contact As an insurance investigator, you are a state employee with the task of conducting investigations to ensure that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. When working with care allowances, you are in contact with parents who have children requiring special care due to illness or functional impairment. In your work with additional cost reimbursement, you are in contact with individuals who may need help covering additional costs for daily living due to functional impairment. In your work, you make assessments through qualified investigations and analysis of documentation, particularly medical reports. You then present proposals for decisions that are made by designated decision-makers. Contact with individuals occurs via telephone and in writing. You gather information and collaborate with healthcare services and municipalities, among others. As an insurance investigator, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong security awareness. This is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility. Certain positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be employed in such a position, an approved security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
