In your role as an insurance investigator specializing in in-depth investigation, you will handle applications for sick leave benefits. This may include ongoing documentation as well as calculations and disbursement of compensation. You work actively and make independent decisions regarding the right to sick leave by correctly and lawfully applying legislation and established work processes. The work involves conducting qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, particularly medical certificates. As an insurance investigator, you investigate and clarify rehabilitation needs and work together with other actors such as healthcare providers and employers to enable individuals to return to work as soon as possible. You work in a differentiated manner, and the work is characterized by early interventions based on each individual's unique situation and needs. You meet individuals and collaboration partners by phone, in writing, and in digital meetings when necessary. You provide and explain comprehensive information tailored to each individual's specific needs. Your interactions are characterized by attentiveness, respect, and a commitment to creating confidence and understanding of sick leave insurance among individuals and collaboration partners. You collaborate with your colleagues, and you actively work to develop your knowledge, share experiences, and cover for each other when needed.
