Welcome to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. You are responsible for investigation, administration, and dialogue with individuals and cooperation partners. As an insurance investigator specializing in in-depth investigation, you process applications for sick leave benefits. This may include ongoing documentation, calculations, and payment of compensation. You work actively and make independent decisions regarding the right to sick leave benefits by correctly and fairly applying legislation and established work processes. The work involves conducting qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, particularly medical certificates. As an insurance investigator, you investigate and clarify rehabilitation needs and work together with other actors such as healthcare providers and employers to help individuals return to work as soon as possible. You work in a differentiated manner, and your work is characterized by early interventions based on each individual's unique situation and needs. You interact with individuals and cooperation partners by phone and in writing, as well as in digital meetings when needed. You provide and explain comprehensive information based on each individual's specific needs. Your contacts are characterized by attentiveness, respect, and a desire to create confidence and understanding of the sickness insurance system among individuals and cooperation partners. You collaborate with your colleagues, and together you actively work to develop your knowledge, share experiences, and support each other as needed. As a new employee, you receive introductory training and support from a mentor. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on fair handling.
