You are responsible for investigation, administration, and dialogue with individuals and collaboration partners As an insurance investigator specializing in in-depth investigation, you handle applications for sickness benefits. This can include ongoing documentation as well as calculations and disbursements of compensation. You work actively and make independent decisions about the right to sickness benefits by applying legislation and established work processes in a correct and legally sound manner. The work involves making qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, particularly medical certificates. As an insurance investigator, you investigate and clarify rehabilitation needs and work together with other actors such as healthcare providers and employers to help individuals return to work as soon as possible. You work in a differentiated manner and the work is characterized by early interventions based on each individual's unique situation and needs. You meet individuals and collaboration partners by phone and in writing, as well as in digital meetings when necessary. You inform and explain complex information based on each individual's specific needs. Your contacts are characterized by attentiveness, respect, and a desire to create trust and understanding of sickness insurance among individuals and collaboration partners. You collaborate with your colleagues and actively work to develop your knowledge, share experiences, and support each other as needed.
