Service, Delivery, Decision-Making and Teamwork As an insurance claims handler, you have an important mission: to help citizens so that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. You provide the conditions for overview and security in all contacts with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Each individual has a unique situation and needs to be met based on their specific needs. You have contact by phone and in writing. In your work, you are responsible for conducting investigations based on applicable regulations. You calculate compensation and make decisions on compensation where applicable. As an insurance claims handler, you handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have high security awareness. When you work with sickness benefit income (SGI), you handle cases for people who share the characteristic of having varying or unpredictable income. The individuals are at different stages of life, from long-term sick to new parents. SGI determines the compensation level for daily allowances, such as sickness benefits and parental allowance. You work based on multiple sets of regulations and obtain information about income conditions and calculate SGI based on each specific situation, for example, self-employed, students, or people working in another country. You make decisions in cases from a continuous queue, which means you must be able to balance quality with quantity. In your work, you collaborate with, among others, the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Tax Agency, auditors, and employers. Part of your time in the position will also consist of scheduled telephone shifts in our customer service. It is a job for you who want to take responsibility. We are looking for you who have a final grade from upper secondary school or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent are service-oriented have a systematic and thorough work approach are stable and can maintain energy even in demanding situations collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals have good communication skills, both verbal and written have computer skills.
