You will become an important part of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's child allowance team, a unit characterized by professional civil servants who work closely together and jointly focus on meeting citizens' needs with commitment and respect.
Case handling, customer contact, and teamwork
As an insurance benefits officer, you have an important mission: to help citizens so that the right person receives the right benefit at the right time. You provide individuals with the ability to have an overview and feel secure in all interactions with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Every individual has a unique situation and needs to be met based on their specific needs. In your work, you are responsible for conducting investigations based on current regulations. You calculate and, where applicable, make decisions regarding benefits. You have daily contact with applicants and insured persons in writing and by phone. Part of your work involves answering incoming calls where you identify needs and provide general and specific information. Your work also includes informing and providing support in our self-service tools. The position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.
When you work with child allowances, you meet parents, foster parents, and others who may receive child allowance. This can include, for example, cohabiting or separated parents, unaccompanied refugee children, or parents of children in special education. You investigate, among other things, eligibility for child allowance and large family supplements for individuals in very different life situations, which can sometimes be difficult. Your investigations often depend on other actors such as the Swedish Tax Agency, the Swedish Migration Agency, the Central Study Assistance Board, and municipalities.

Other information
Several positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A trial period may apply. Certain positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be hired for such a position, a passed security clearance is required under the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
