About the role and your responsibilities At the Infrastructure Unit within the Department of Urban Development, we work to develop, build, and maintain Lund's public environments. For our employees to do a good job, we need the right materials in the right place at the right time. As a warehouse associate, you'll be an important part of this. You'll be responsible for the daily operations of our warehouses and storage areas, working with everything from receiving, loading, and unloading deliveries to ordering materials, managing inventory, and maintaining our material flows. The work is varied and practical. You'll work with forklifts and wheel loaders, conduct inventories, manage digital warehouse systems, and maintain supplier contacts. You'll also be an important resource for our site managers, equipment operators, and drivers, contributing to smooth and efficient operations. About you We're looking for someone who is responsible, organized, and practically minded. You take initiative, enjoy solving problems, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You have good interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation, and a natural approach to safety. We'd like to see experience in warehouse, storage, or material handling. A forklift certification, qualification for wheel loaders, and a Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles are required. Good computer skills and the ability to communicate well in Swedish both verbally and in writing are also important. A Class C driver's license, YKB certification, experience with truck driving, construction or contracting work, and experience with purchasing and warehouse/business systems are advantageous.
