Asptuna Prison is an open prison located in Norsborg, approximately twelve miles south of Stockholm. Beateberg Prison is located in Trångsund and is a closed prison in security class 2. Beateberg Prison also has an open unit, Grindstugan, in security class 3 for women. The Beateberg Remand Center is located in the same area as Beateberg Prison. About the Stockholm South operational area At both prisons, inmates serve sentences of varying lengths, from 14 days to life sentences. Studies are offered to inmates at primary and secondary school levels, and there is carpentry work where inmates are engaged in various work tasks. Inmates also have the opportunity to participate in vocational training in kitchen work (institutional/restaurant). This position is based at Asptuna Prison. About the position You will be responsible for the registration and documentation of inmates' belongings and their storage during the sentence. Your duties will also include coordination of orders, decisions regarding possession, investigation of loss reports, invoice handling, and receipt of goods. You will work in close cooperation with other functions within the operational area. Your duties will include responsibility for managing inmates' stored belongings and personal items during their sentences, coordination of purchases and orders, invoice handling, receipt and inspection of goods, and administration and decision-making regarding the possession and forfeiture of prohibited items. Your duties will also include handling loss reports, registration in the warehouse system, and responsibility for staff uniforms. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is stable, organized, and service-oriented with strong collaboration skills and an independent work approach. You are clear, confident, and can prioritize even during periods of high workload. You have good computer skills and express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish. You are development-oriented and want to contribute to improving operations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Requirements Three-year upper secondary education with a focus on economics, administration, or commerce, or equivalent education/experience deemed equivalent Documented experience in administrative work (minimum 1–2 years) Very good computer skills and experience working in IT systems (e.g., accounting systems, KRITA, case management, or warehouse systems) Experience with decision-making in public administration, such as invoice approval or procurement matters Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Class B driver's license Meritorious Completed Swedish Prison and Probation Service basic training Experience with warehouse work within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, including: Handling in KVR Warehouse (inventory, orders, loss investigations) Practical experience with Swedish Prison and Probation Service systems (Proceedo, KVR) Other information The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has chosen to remove the cover letter requirement and replaced it with selection questions relevant to the position.
