We are now looking for someone who wants to use their expertise in labor law and employer matters to make a real difference. With us, you will have a central role where you contribute to developing and strengthening HR work—both strategically and operationally—to advance the region's employer policy. As a negotiator with us, you will have a qualified and developmental assignment where you represent the employer in labor law negotiations and contribute to positions on employer policy matters within applicable laws and agreements. You will be part of the HR Strategy and Projects unit within the Regional Management Administration staff. Here you work together with engaged colleagues such as HR strategists, project managers, and negotiation managers—all with a common goal: to create professional, sustainable, and efficient HR processes throughout the organization. When needed, you will substitute for the negotiation manager in contacts with Swedish Municipalities and Regions (SKR) and regional collaboration. You report directly to the HR Director and serve as important expert support, especially to HR colleagues, but also as needed to managers in the organization. This is a permanent full-time position, located at the Region's office in Härnösand. Start date by agreement. Duties In your role as negotiator, you will have a varied day-to-day where you, among other things: provide support and guidance based on interpretation and application of labor law legislation and central and local collective agreements serve as expert support in labor law and employer policy matters within the region conducts negotiations with trade union organizations on assignment provide support to HR consultants in rehabilitation processes responsible for labor law investigations develop and maintain governing documents within the subject area and other labor law areas serve as important support to your colleagues within HR contribute to the development of the region's HR work This is a role for someone who thrives with both breadth and depth—and who appreciates working in a central function with many contact points. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Holds a degree in law or a personnel program with specialization in labor law, and/or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent in combination with relevant work experience Has work experience in labor law negotiations and practical application and interpretation of laws and collective agreements Has very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing It is meritorious if you: Have experience working within public administration Have good knowledge of relevant central collective agreements and General Provisions Personal Qualities: Your personal suitability for the position is important to us, and we are looking for someone who is calm, stable, and maintains control even in pressured situations. At the same time, you have a good overall perspective and understand the importance of considering what is best for the operation in your decisions and actions. Furthermore, you adapt easily to changing circumstances and can quickly adjust your perspective and approach. You see opportunities in changes rather than obstacles.
