JOB DUTIES As a physician with specialization in occupational medicine or another patient-oriented specialty, you now have the opportunity to apply for a new and exciting role at our corporate health service. You will work in a multiprofessional team where a holistic approach and consultative methods are important factors in our work. The work is stimulating with varied assignments and tasks, ranging from routine to complex. In addition to our preventive and health-promoting mission, which includes training initiatives directed at managers, employees, and HR, we provide support to management and organizations in developing procedures and guidelines. This could include protocols for work-related rehabilitation and providing consultative support to managers/HR and employees on rehabilitation matters. You will work in a team consisting of a psychologist/behavioral scientist, occupational health nurse, ergonomist/physiotherapist, and occupational health engineer. We work closely with occupational and environmental medicine, as well as with other medical specialties. As an occupational physician with us, you will work with • supporting our clients in systematic workplace health and safety work • assignments at individual, group, and organizational levels from a health-promoting, preventive, and remedial perspective • medical examinations • mapping the relationship between illness and work • work-related rehabilitation initiatives • preventive work such as statutory medical examinations and other health-promoting measures. Your work location will be Bollnäs or Hudiksvall based on agreement, but you will work at different corporate health units, which also involves some travel as part of your duties. We expect you to have strong commitment to working with workplace health and safety issues from a consultative perspective. You understand the value of sharing and exchanging knowledge in various forums both internally and externally. Personal suitability will be given significant weight. In your role as an occupational physician, you must • be a licensed physician with specialist certification in a relevant field • have good knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, a passing grade in Swedish 3, or a passing result from a Swedish course for non-Nordic students equivalent to 60 higher education credits. Meritorious qualifications include subspecialty in corporate health care/occupational medicine or specialist certification in occupational and environmental medicine, general medicine, rehabilitation medicine, internal medicine, or psychiatry.
