Director of Residential Group Care for boys ages 13–18 As a director at Bogården HVB, you will be responsible for ensuring that the facility operates according to its license, maintains high quality standards, and creates a good work environment. About Bogården HVB Bogården HVB is a privately-owned facility that provides qualified social services in the form of residential group care (HVB). Bogården HVB has 7 placements and accepts referrals according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU). About the Position The HVB facility works with boys ages 13–18 who are living in inappropriate environments, have committed minor offenses, experimented with drugs, or display threatening behavior. As director of Bogården HVB, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility operates according to its license, maintains high quality standards, and creates a good work environment. The role includes staff responsibility, supervision, and administrative tasks such as budgeting, documentation, scheduling, and framework procurement. You will also be responsible for monitoring, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of the facility. It is important to us that as director you are active and engaged in the day-to-day operations of the facility. This is essential for building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, youth, and our commissioning authorities. Qualifications As director, you must meet the following requirements: - Minimum 180 university credits (ECTS) in social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science - Experience with similar operations - Personal suitability We are seeking someone who is a social worker or has equivalent higher education qualification. You have several years of professional experience working with children and youth, and previous management experience with personnel responsibility. You work independently and can make decisions within the scope of your role. You are expected to be a solution-focused, stress-resilient, confident, and clear leader. You must be knowledgeable in administrative and financial work, as the position includes financial planning/budgeting, procurement, and facility development. It is important that you have good knowledge of relevant legislation.
