Manager for Gläntan Young Adults Gläntan Young Adults is a care chain for young adults aged 18-30 with substance dependency, mental health issues, and involvement in criminal activity. Gläntan Young Adults operates residential care, supported housing, and foster family services. We are located in Eskilstuna, Torshälla, Malmköping, and Bettna. We believe that people are capable of change and that a destructive life situation can be transformed into a positive and secure one with the right support and interventions. Treatment is based on the 12-step program with specific elements of CBT. We are now seeking a Manager who is passionate about our target group and willing to take responsibility for one or more of our units. As a manager, you will be part of Gläntan Young Adults' management team. You will have a holistic perspective regarding the operations you are responsible for. You ensure both staff and residents' wellbeing. You ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation/licensing and that treatment maintains high quality, you lead staff, manage budgets, conduct risk and suitability assessments, are responsible for work environment and goal achievement, and have personnel responsibility. Collaboration, flexibility, and good relationships with social services are of utmost importance. You will also be part of the management team's on-call group and will have on-call duty certain weeks. To succeed in these roles, in addition to being a trusted adult, you need to enjoy working in teams, like leading through change, be good at setting boundaries, and be responsible. You are courageous and willing to try new things, and you have good knowledge of applicable legislation and practice. Qualifications: We are looking for someone who is educated as a social worker or equivalent and who meets the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for managers. We see that you have strong leadership qualities and have worked within social services and/or treatment activities. You have worked in a leadership position and have good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written. It is advantageous to have training and/or experience in personnel responsibility, finance, labor law and work environment, BBIC, the 12-step program, motivational interviewing (MI), CBT, TMO and relapse prevention, ASI, etc. We place great importance on personal suitability. For this position, you will be required to provide a criminal record check from the police. A driver's license, category B is required. We see that you have a maximum one hour commute to work. Other Information: Working hours are daytime 40 hours/week. You have trust time and on-call duty occurs. You are part of the management team that meets every third week.
