About the Position
As a legal officer, you are very important for the court to carry out its important societal mission. You work with conducting legal investigations, preparing draft judgments and decisions, presenting cases and proposals for rulings, and taking notes during oral proceedings. Additionally, you prepare cases, take positions on practical and procedural matters, and maintain contact with parties. The cases you work with can be very varied and sometimes require quick handling. In this recruitment, we are seeking legal officers for several of our departments. The court has nine departments with focus on migration, tax, or general cases.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a lawyer with a law degree or law candidate degree. You are notarially qualified (notariemeriterad) or will become notarially qualified by December 31, 2026, or have at least two years of experience in qualified legal work at a general administrative court.
It is meritorious if, after graduation, you have at least one year of experience in qualified legal work within the administrative court's case areas.
To perform well as a legal officer, you need to be a highly skilled lawyer with very good legal methodology and excellent problem-solving ability, and have very good written and oral communication skills. You demonstrate excellent judgment, have very good collaboration skills while also having good ability to work independently. Your work capacity is high and you are results-oriented and perform work in a structured and careful manner. You have a high degree of self-awareness and learn from experiences and feedback from your surroundings. You can quickly adapt to new circumstances and are positive and work constructively under pressure.
To be eligible for employment, you must meet high standards regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means you uphold democratic values and the state values that guide the Swedish Courts' operations. We require that you comply with applicable laws. Prior to employment, register checks may be conducted. Swedish citizenship is a legal requirement.
