Preventive Maintenance Technician

About the Role As a Preventive Maintenance Technician, you are a central member of our PM team and work with planning, preparing, and performing preventive maintenance on our production facilities. You work closely with the maintenance manager, service leader, and other support functions and ensure that machines are in optimal condition and that established operational reliability targets are met. In this role, practical work is combined with documentation and technical analysis, and you contribute to developing procedures, instructions, and methods for preventive maintenance work. Your main responsibilities include: Prepare maintenance activities according to annual plans Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment Act as technical leader during execution of planned PM activities Report machine status and provide feedback on completed work to the service leader Prepare corrective maintenance after completed PM activities Analyze reported activities and suggest improvements Create and update instructions related to PM work Create and update PM schedules Deliver key metrics and follow-ups related to PM Place orders with internal support functions and external suppliers We are Looking for You With: Qualifications: 5-year maintenance technical education (or equivalent experience) Experience with preventive maintenance in an industrial environment Knowledge of blueprint reading Ability to work independently, with good organizational skills and planning ability Good proficiency in MS Office and experience working in maintenance systems Strong Swedish and English language skills, both spoken and written Meritorious: Experience with geometric measurement or vibration measurement Experience with bearing and sealing technology Experience with measurement and technical documentation Previous experience in a similar role within industry Who Are You?
