Within Välfärd Gävle, our workplace is located at Jägargatan 2. Here, approximately 120 employees and six unit managers work together. We work in teams in an open office layout with access to several meeting and conference rooms. The building has a café and a reception area. All work takes place on-site and our customers visit here as well. The location is easily accessible by bus and there are many beautiful bike paths nearby.

JOB DUTIES
In your role as Change Leader, your mission is to support individuals who, for various reasons, cannot support themselves and therefore apply for financial assistance. Working together with the individual, you create paths toward an independent life with self-sufficiency through work, studies, or other compensation. Through active interventions and motivation and change work, you create conditions for the individual to take the next step in their development journey. The work consists of motivational and guidance activities both individually and in groups. Collaboration with colleagues and other relevant actors is crucial for success. You are responsible for a number of clients and your task is to drive the process together with the individual toward the goal of self-sufficiency. You will work closely with your colleagues in a high-performing and tight team in your unit. Your mission is to drive an individually tailored and goal-oriented process together with the client. Through coaching and conversations, you provide tools and insights that the client needs to take control of their future and achieve their goals.
Your work duties include:
• Assess the client's resources and identify potential obstacles
• Create an individually tailored self-sufficiency plan toward work, education, or other compensation
• Support the client in developing and strengthening their skills and knowledge, and in collaboration with other services in the municipality, region, and state, ensure the client receives support regarding their health and social needs
• Explore different educational opportunities, find suitable internships or workplaces, or other compensation in collaboration with healthcare services
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with an academic degree relevant to this profession, such as behavioral science, social work, personnel and working life, pedagogy, or another academic degree that the employer deems relevant for the position. We consider it meritorious if you have one year of experience in similar work and that you have a B driver's license and driving experience.

• The ability to create open dialogue and adapt your actions based on different situations; it comes naturally to you and you build trusting relationships where others feel secure
• You see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best way possible
• A systematic, methodical, and reliable approach is self-evident to you, and as a person, you naturally focus on client needs and achieve high customer satisfaction
• Experience giving presentations, lectures, and training and adapting these to the target audience's needs and feedback
