A final personal goodbye. About the role As a customer advisor at Fonus you are responsible for the entire funeral process – from the first meeting with family members to the ceremony execution. The role combines warm customer interaction with structure and administration. You need to be comfortable guiding people in difficult situations while keeping track of the details. Your work tasks include: Meet and guide family members through the funeral process Plan and conduct funerals and ceremonies Guide customers in choices regarding ceremony, caskets, urns and gravestones Handle administration, bookings and invoicing Coordinate contact with churches, florists and authorities Transport deceased from private homes and care facilities Handle deceased individuals at for example washing and committal You will be based at the office in Borås but you will also be part of a team where you help each other as needed between our other offices in the customer area. This means you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues at the offices in Gothenburg, Alingsås and Herrljunga. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who is secure, thoughtful and organized – someone who creates calm and confidence even in the most sensitive situations. You are equally comfortable having a deep conversation with a grieving family as you are keeping track of administration, IT support systems and planning the entire assignment. We believe you have: Experience in service and advisory work, preferably with a sales component Good administrative ability and experience working in digital systems (business systems, Microsoft 365 etc.) Interest in digital working methods and openness to using AI as support in everyday work B-driver's license, good driving skills and access to your own car Good physical condition, as some heavy tasks occur It is advantageous if you have experience from the funeral industry or similar operations, or if you have previously met people in grief and crisis – regardless of cultural background.
