Do you want to help educate tomorrow's medical secretaries/healthcare administrators? One of our instructors will be on parental leave, and we are therefore seeking a substitute instructor for the Medical Secretary/Healthcare Administrator program at Vimmerby Folk High School.
As an instructor in our vocational training program, you will be a key person for our students, responsible for providing them with the theoretical tools needed for a future career. Your main areas will include: medical documentation, diagnosis classification, quality and improvement work, and responsibility for LIA (Learning in Work). In the program, we work with integrated subjects, and mentorship is part of the position.
About You
We are looking for someone with knowledge and expertise in healthcare and nursing. Your background is work as a medical secretary/healthcare administrator. It is advantageous if you have pedagogical experience or formal teaching education.
You are a confident and engaged person with good collaboration skills. You communicate in a pedagogical manner, take responsibility for your work, and drive processes forward in an independent and structured way. You have the ability to lead and motivate others and create engagement and participation among the people around you! It is important that you can adapt your teaching to the needs of the group and individual students, and that you have a passion for folk education's foundational principles!
