We are starting a new educational program in the fall with a language-strengthening course for vocational preparation within restaurant and service. Therefore, we need a new teacher to join our team.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Skurups Folk High School has approximately 60 employees distributed between schools in Skurup and Malmö. Our participants are 18 years and older.
We are now seeking a colleague who wants to teach, develop, and contribute together with participants and colleagues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position involves planning and teaching primarily Swedish at several levels, as it is a language-strengthening course where many participants come from Swedish for Immigrants (SFI). The position may also include teaching in the General Course conducted at upper secondary level. Together with the work team, you will plan and structure the school year and overall school development activities.
You are expected to contribute your knowledge, creativity, and experience.
YOUR PROFILE
We are seeking you if you:
- have a relevant teaching degree
- have a pedagogical approach where learning is seen as an ongoing process
- place the individual at the center and work with clear progression
Meritorious if you:
- have experience teaching older teenagers or adults
- have worked within folk high school and/or adult education
- have experience in restaurant and service.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities and seek someone who is independent, flexible, and has good collaboration skills. You are unpretentious and contribute positively to the work environment.
