Feed Planning Manager

Then the role of Feed Planning Manager might be your next step. What you will do As Feed Planning Manager, you will lead and develop the planning function within the Feed business area and have personnel responsibility for a team of 4–5 planners. You are responsible for overall planning of both feed raw materials and finished feed and ensure, together with procurement, production, logistics, and sales, an efficient and business-oriented supply chain. The role involves close collaboration with our production units where planning and production work hand in hand. By understanding the business's conditions and challenges, you translate needs into planning that creates efficient flows, high delivery service, and optimal utilization of inventory, transportation, and production capacity. You continuously work with analyses, forecasts, and follow-ups to identify improvement opportunities and drive development in the area through efficiency, digitalization, and supply chain projects. In close collaboration with the procurement organization, you also contribute market and planning perspectives to ensure well-founded procurement decisions and a long-term sustainable raw material supply. The planning function has a central role in the business and offers great opportunities to influence both profitability and development for our owners—Swedish farmers. The position is located at our office in central Malmö and you report to Feed Manager Kristina Gustafsson. What you need to succeed and thrive You have: Several years of experience in planning, logistics, or production planning. Leadership experience as a manager, project leader, or team leader. Academic education in, for example, logistics, engineering, planning, or economics. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written. You are: Strategic and business-oriented with a holistic view of planning, procurement, production, and logistics. A confident leader who develops employees and methods through engaging leadership. Analytical and structured with the ability to translate data into decisions and improvements. Communicative and relationship-building with good collaboration skills. Self-driven and initiative-taking with drive to develop operations and processes. Solution-oriented with the ability to prioritize and make decisions in a complex environment. Unassuming and collaboration-focused with a focus on engagement and shared results. Meritorious: Experience with Relex, M3, DMP, QlikView, Oracle, and BAAN.
