About the job As an airport operations staff member, you'll work with the airport's operational activities in ramp, field, and rescue services. Together with your colleagues, you're responsible for ensuring the airport operates safely, efficiently, and is prepared to handle both daily operations and unexpected events. Job tasks include, among others: Loading and unloading baggage and cargo Aircraft de-icing Fueling aircraft and other ground services Snow removal and winter road maintenance Operation, inspection, and maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment Operation and maintenance of airport facilities and buildings Service as security guard and security officer Administrative tasks related to operations You will also receive training and serve within the airport's rescue service and be an important part of the readiness required for the airport to operate safely. Work is scheduled in two shifts and includes evenings and weekends. As Lycksele Airport is a standby airport, scheduled on-call duty outside regular operating hours is also included. We have a collective agreement signed with the Transport Workers' Union aviation division 46. About you We're looking for someone who is responsible, service-oriented, and has a strong safety mindset.
