We are now looking for a Flow Leader for our assembly who, together with the team, drives daily work forward and creates the conditions for safety, quality and high productivity. Your Team As a Flow Leader, you become an important part of an engaged team that together strives for a safe and inclusive workplace. We collaborate and support each other to achieve goals and continuously improve in all areas such as safety, quality, delivery and total cost. By involving, engaging and developing your employees, you create effective teams that independently contribute to the goals. You will lead a team/flow of between 15-25 people and be part of the production management group. You report directly to the Production Manager. Your Assignment In your role as Flow Leader, you are responsible for leading and organizing our assembly and final testing of complete drill rigs. We have a paced assembly (mix-model-line) for which you will have overall responsibility, meaning process development linked to LEAN is central to your role. Our flows in total production are machining, heat treatment and assembly. In addition, we have all supporting flows such as materials handling, measurement room, maintenance, etc. The role involves structuring and distributing work within your area, coaching and engaging your employees and, together with the team, driving continuous improvements. You are a key person within production management for the Drill Rigs Business and part of both daily management and strategic development work. Collaboration and holistic thinking between different functions such as R&D, Lab, Quality and Production is also very important for the operation. We see that there are great opportunities to drive development of our operation as a Flow Leader, so to succeed in the role you need to have a strong interest, drive and ability in change management. Areas of Responsibility Safety and Work Environment • Capture, document and drive measures related to risk observations, near misses and accidents. • Provide support in work environment and TIA-related matters. • Take delegated responsibility for work environment within production. Personnel Responsibility • Personnel responsibility for assembly employees. • Responsibility for recruitment, onboarding, competence development, employee conversations, salary setting, coaching and rehabilitation matters. • Contribute to creating engagement, development and well-being in the team. Operative Management • Lead pulse meetings and improvement activities and ensure effective shift handovers. • Drive quality work and handle deviations together with the operation. • Support assemblers in daily work while working on improvements and capacity development over the longer term. • Monitor productivity and analyze production data to ensure fact-based improvement work. • Ensure that resources and working methods are used efficiently during the shift. Communication skills and genuine interest in your employees with strong empathetic ability are critical in this role. It is also important that you are customer-oriented and are open, service-minded and have an easy time collaborating with different people and different roles within the organization. You have good experience of similar roles and are used to leading employees in a technical environment. Good knowledge and experience in systematic work environment and improvement work are central. You master Swedish and English fluently in both speaking and writing.
