We are looking for two new colleagues for one of our units at Lövgärdet care and residential facility (visit address: Vaniljgatan 28). The City of Gothenburg is part of the Finnish administrative area, which means that the Sweden-Finnish minority has the right to receive all or a substantial part of their care in Finnish if they wish. At Lövgärdet care and residential facility, we offer care in the Finnish language. Lövgärdet Care and Residential Facility consists of two buildings and has units for general care and for residents with dementia. Two of five units are for residents who speak Finnish. An expansion of Finnish units will now take place, which means there will be three of five units for residents who speak Finnish. As an employee at Lövgärdet care and residential facility, you will be placed on a unit but are still expected to be able to work on other units when needed. Currently there are three somatic departments and two departments for residents with dementia. We value your commitment and expertise. You are the one who makes everyday life work and become meaningful. In your work, you start from what is healthy in the resident and make use of the individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual circumstances in their own home, which is part of the care and residential facility. Your work tasks include everything from personal care, support around meals, encouragement and support in social activities such as celebrating Finnish holidays, as well as cooperation with family members. Some work tasks you perform on behalf of licensed personnel. Your working hours are scheduled daytime, evening, and every other weekend. About You Qualifications Can speak Finnish in a way that is understandable to other Finnish speakers Has previous work experience from care and welfare work The work requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills both spoken and written Meritorious Trained care assistant (800p care and welfare program) or trained nursing assistant who can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for protected professional title, or show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced We are looking for someone who has good manners and shows respect and consideration for those you meet. You have an open and positive attitude, with the resident's needs as your starting point. You have the ability to cooperate with others to perform tasks and achieve goals, and you contribute to a respectful work climate. You are flexible and adapt easily to changing conditions and new information. You are stable and secure, work efficiently under stress, and remain calm in difficult situations.
