FINANCIAL ECONOMIST position for an indefinite term
Monthly salary: EUR 1700 (one thousand seven hundred EUR) gross.
Location: Stadiona iela 1, Jēkabpils, Jēkabpils novads, LV-5201
Requirements:
Higher education (bachelor's degree or second-level professional higher education) in economics, finance, accounting, or related fields;
Excellent knowledge of the state language;
At least 2 years of experience in a position related to the finance sector, including analysis and calculations;
Good computer skills, excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word, experience with the Horizon resource management system is desirable;
Ability to plan and complete work within specified deadlines;
Analytical thinking, ability to work independently;
Accuracy and a high sense of responsibility.
Duties:
Developing the institution's budget and monitoring its execution;
Performing financial planning and forecasting for the institution;
Performing profitability calculations for the institution;
Planning cash flows and financial results in the institution;
Preparing quarterly and annual budget execution reports;
Monitoring compliance with financial activity regulations established in regulatory acts and standards;
Calculating and monitoring the cost, prices, and tariffs of services provided by the institution;
Planning medium-term and long-term financial and non-financial indicators;
Preparing statistical reports and other related reports and statements.
