Instead of working operationally with these tasks, we in Financial Control are responsible for governance, requirement setting, and quality assurance of the processes and function as support to the internal and external functions in their daily work.
With us, you get a central role linked to Ellevio's billing process; Accounts Receivable (AR). You function as the link between Finance and our billing, claims, and credit functions as well as outsourcing partners and ensure that internal controls, legal requirements, and accounting principles are complied with.
The role also includes independent accounting responsibility for four smaller holding companies.
You will, among other things:
Be responsible for accounting, reconciliations, and analyses related to the AR process.
Be responsible for closing work, reconciliations, and preparation of annual reports for the holding companies.

Drive and participate in improvement work within billing, payment solutions, systems, and working methods.
Work closely with Business Control, billing/accounts receivable, outsourcing partners, auditors, and other parts of the Finance function.
The team you will be part of consists of knowledgeable, unpretentious, and engaged Controllers who are part of the Finance department that supports various parts of our operations.
The position is located at our headquarters on Valhallavägen, very close to Gärdet, with proximity to both good communications and beautiful green areas.
What you need to succeed and thrive in the role
We are looking for someone with a higher education or university degree in economics, or equivalent experience, and who has worked independently for a few years with accounting and preparing monthly and annual closing. You have a good understanding of the Annual Accounts Act (ÅRL) and accounting regulations such as K3 and are accustomed to handling large amounts of data in Excel. Your ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, also needs to be very good. We see it as positive if you have experience with or interest in using digital tools, analysis tools, and AI to streamline processes, strengthen the quality of analyses and reporting, and contribute to the development of the organization's working methods.
As a person, you are structured, analytical, and collaborative. You thrive with deadlines, see patterns and discrepancies in data, and have the courage to stand by your assessment when accounting principles, processes, or regulations need to be clarified.
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience with VAT, energy tax, or other tax matters.
Experience from transaction-heavy companies or process-intensive finance functions.
Knowledge of database management, Power BI, or other business intelligence systems.
Experience working with process development, system changes, or internal controls.
