About the Job
As a Financial Controller with us, you are responsible for ensuring high quality in our financial reporting. You have a key role in the financial closing work and actively work to develop processes, routines, and internal controls. The role involves many contact points both internally and externally, where you serve as an important partner to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
Prepare annual closings and annual reports for subsidiaries.
Ensure compliance rules and internal controls in accordance with applicable laws and standards.
Participate in contact with auditors and support the audit process.
Drive improvement initiatives within accounting and financial processes.
What We Are Looking For:
Academic education in economics.
Several years of experience in accounting and group accounting.
Very good experience with monthly and annual closings.
Experience working with internal controls.
Experience with group accounting within IFRS.
Meritorious if you have experience with Business Central and Capego.
Personal Qualities
To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are analytical and have the ability to understand and interpret financial information in depth. You work in a structured manner and have a good ability to handle deadlines related to, for example, closings and reporting. Furthermore, you have a process-oriented approach and enjoy developing clear routines and working methods that strengthen internal controls.
You are also communicative, pedagogical, and clear in the way you convey financial information, and have an easy time collaborating with different parts of the business.
Other Information
The position is a permanent employment that we begin with a six-month probationary period. We place great importance on personal suitability.
