Communardo has existed for 25 years and five years ago we were acquired by a private equity company. Since then, the journey has been fast and acquisitions in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway have meant that the Nordic operations, following the acquisition of Swedish Stretch Addera among others, has grown to around 100 employees, with offices in, for example, Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo and Karlstad. The head office is located in Dresden and in addition to the Nordic region and Germany there are operations in the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland as well as offshore teams in Morocco and Albania.
Now we are looking for you who want to be part of building the finance function of the future at Communardo Nordics.
What do you do in this role?
You become Finance Manager for the Nordic region and report to Mathias Carling, who leads the Nordic operations, with functional dialogue with Maximilian Schmidt, CFO of Communardo Group. This is not a role where you sit and do bookkeeping, although you must know your accounting, but rather a role where you are a sounding board for management, ensure that the numbers add up and help regional managers in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark understand and act on their finances.
You will also be involved in driving projects. Everything from tax issues and process improvements to system issues, and you will be an important link to our external accounting providers and advisors.
Some examples of what you will do:
Hold monthly reconciliations and follow-ups with the regional managers
Own budgets, forecasts and ongoing reporting to the group
Drive improvement projects, such as incentive models, and be a natural conversation partner on financial matters
Who are you?
You have worked a number of years within finance, with emphasis on business partnering, FP&A or controlling. You are not afraid of accounting either; you need to have a firm grasp of the processes there as well. You enjoy working independently, you like explaining things so they become understandable, and you have a knack for building relationships with people whose main focus is not finance.
You speak and write excellent English. Swedish or another Nordic language is important for you to handle.
