As a Finance Business Partner with us, you are responsible for and drive the development of the finance function within our contract logistics operations. Through in-depth analyses, forecasts, reporting, advisory, and data-driven insights, you contribute to strategic decisions and business development. You work proactively with analysis, forecasting, and reporting for our operations in Gothenburg, Borås, Karlshamn, and Jönköping. You also work on developing KPIs with a focus on warehouse and logistics and handling of large volumes and data sets. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning and Analysis: Responsible for developing and monitoring financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, and participate in financial closing. Strategic Advisory: Provide financial guidance to management and other key stakeholders to support strategic and operational goals. Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure the business achieves its targets. Cost and Investment Management: Manage costs and investments to optimize resource utilization. Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present financial reports and analyses for management. Process Improvements: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems. Project Management: Drive and participate in various business projects. Business Development: Participate in financial calculations for new business opportunities and be involved in procurement processes. In this role, you collaborate closely with other finance functions, General Managers, and the CEO of DFDS Logistics Contracts, and you participate in the company's management team. This is a full-time position based in Gothenburg, with travel to the various operations in Sweden and Copenhagen. You also have personnel responsibility for one person whom you lead and coach, and you implement initiatives that ensure continuous competency development for your team to achieve set goals. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience from a similar role with strong competence in financial analysis and business development, experience with accounting and financial closing, and reporting in accordance with IFRS. Your Excel skills are at an advanced level and you have a strong interest in systems and digitalization. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold an academic degree in business/economics. Experience from the warehouse and logistics industry is highly desirable. Personal Qualities You work proactively with strong business focus and are motivated by working close to operations in an outward-facing role. Your analytical abilities are prominent and you have both an operational and strategic mindset with an understanding of large-scale flows. As a person, you are communicative and have the ability to explain finance in a pedagogical manner. You are a confident and stable leader experienced in leading a team where you contribute your energy and commitment to inspire the team.
