We are seeking a summer job coordinator/employment consultant for the Employment Unit (AME). With us, you'll have a broad and meaningful role where you support adult Tyresö residents toward work or studies and manage the municipality's summer job program for youth. Both assignments share the same goal: to help more Tyresö residents—both young and adults—take the step into working life.
The Employment Unit exists for Tyresö residents who need extra support on their way to work, studies, or other benefits, and we manage the municipality's summer job program for youth. We always start from the belief that everyone wants to and can contribute in the labor market, and our work is based on clear principles: work and study focus from day one, the individual owns their own planning, and we are here as support and sounding board. We work using evidence-based methods such as motivational interviewing, Supported Employment, Supported Education, and Case Management.
About the position
As a summer job coordinator/employment consultant with us, you have a divided but coherent role:
Summer jobs – from employer contact to matching. You take overall responsibility for the municipality's summer job program: you seek out and build relationships with workplaces within the municipality, nonprofit organizations, and local businesses to create summer job positions. You also match youth (16–17 years old) to the right position based on their circumstances and special needs. You are also the contact person for organizations and Tyresö residents in summer job work. This also includes administrative tasks in digital systems, such as matching, documentation, follow-up, and administration of wage payments.
During parts of the year, summer job work will take up a large part of the position and you collaborate with a colleague as needed. During other parts of the year, summer job work can be combined with work such as the following to support Tyresö residents toward work and studies:
Employer contact. You actively work with employer contacts for all unit participants. You enjoy developing new partnerships with employers, maintaining and sustaining existing employer contacts, placing participants with employers, working on matches that benefit both Tyresö residents and employers, and supporting the start of internships and employment so they are sustainable and lead to permanent positions.
Group activities. You also facilitate group activities focused on helping Tyresö residents take their next step toward work and studies.
Individual support for Tyresö residents. There will also be individual support for Tyresö residents on their path to work and studies.
The position is organization-wide and involves participating in and driving development work where specific tasks may vary over time based on operational needs and development.

Who are you?
You have an academic degree, such as in social work, behavioral science, personnel/HR, education, guidance and career counseling, or another equivalent field. You also have previous experience working with youth.
You should have experience with some or several of these, as well as interest in working with all of them:
Experience with summer job programs
Working with employer contacts
Recruitment and matching
Guiding, supporting, coaching, or similar work toward the labor market
Facilitating group activities
As a person, you preferably are organized and comfortable driving processes, while also being flexible when the day requires it. You enjoy combining people contact with administrative tasks in digital systems. You are collaboration-oriented, unpretentious, and thrive in a team where we help each other.
It is an asset if you have experience working with young people, experience with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) processes, or evidence-based methods such as motivational interviewing (MI), Supported Employment (SE), Supported Education (SEd), or Case Management (CM).
