About the Position As Real Estate Development Manager, you will be responsible for the company's real estate development department and lead a team currently consisting of four employees. The role involves personnel responsibility, budget responsibility, and active participation in the management group. You have overall responsibility for the company's construction, investment, and development projects and ensure that projects are executed with the right quality, economics, and timelines. You will lead a large future project volume executed both through the internal organization and through management and coordination of external consultants, project planners, and contractors. The position is both strategic and operational. You serve as qualified support to the project organization and contribute technical expertise, structure, and guidance in daily work, and you also drive your own projects. You are responsible for project implementation from early needs analyses and feasibility studies to completion and handover to the property management department. Your main responsibilities: • Personnel responsibility and management of the real estate development department • Responsibility for the company's construction, investment, and development projects • Participate in management group work and contribute to the company's strategic development • Support and coach project managers and external consultants on technical, economic, and administrative matters • Lead and follow up projects from feasibility study to handover • Responsibility for budget, forecasts, and financial follow-up within the department's operational area • Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with legal requirements, governing documents, and established goals • Drive and manage matters within contract law • Collaborate with municipal operations, politicians, contractors, consultants, and other external stakeholders We are looking for someone with many years of experience in real estate development, construction project management, or similar activities where you have been responsible for construction and development projects. You have good knowledge of project management, real estate economics, contract law, and procurement, as well as building technical understanding that enables you to provide qualified support to the organization. We appreciate experience from municipal operations, public benefit organizations, or other politically governed organizations. Experience with personnel responsibility is a merit, but we place greater emphasis on your ability to create security, structure, and development in the team through a coaching and present leadership style. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. As a person, you are engaged, unpretentious, and responsible. You have a good ability to combine strategic thinking with operational effectiveness and thrive in an operation where you can alternate between long-term development issues and concrete project challenges. You are communicative and relationship-building, and work well with different stakeholders. Furthermore, you are organized, flexible, solution-oriented, and confident in making decisions even when circumstances change.
