ByggVesta Property Management is now starting a new Stockholm team with six property technicians with different specialized competencies. Currently, we manage nearly twenty properties with rental apartments and student housing in the Stockholm area. The portfolio comprises approximately 2,650 apartments total, with properties ranging in size from under 50 to over 400 apartments.
Operations are based at our local offices in Kista and Nacka, with headquarters on Kungsholmen. ByggVesta is an established and financially stable company with long-term presence in several locations across Sweden.
About the Role
This is an operational and independent role where you work closely with both technology and tenants. You are responsible for electrical matters in day-to-day property management, from troubleshooting and emergency measures to planned work and routine maintenance. The role involves significant personal responsibility, while you are also part of a team with broad property expertise.
This is not just about solving problems when they arise, but also about contributing to stable operations over time by identifying improvements and working preventively.
There is also an opportunity to take on a supervisory function if you have experience in that area.
Your Daily Tasks
With electrical expertise in a property environment, you work broadly with the electrical systems in our residential units. You handle both minor tasks and complex troubleshooting, and are often the one who can quickly determine what needs to be done and how.
Examples of work tasks:
Troubleshooting and fixing electrical faults in apartments and common areas
Minor installations, adjustments, and replacements
Regular inspection and maintenance of electrical systems
Coordination and follow-up with external suppliers on larger projects
Contribute to developing work methods and preventing recurring problems
Documentation and reporting
Support colleagues with technical matters and handle various service tasks as time permits

A Role Close to the Tenant
You meet tenants in their homes, often in situations where something isn't working. Your ability to build trust, explain what needs to be done, and deliver a safe solution is an important part of the work. This makes the role both technical and service-oriented, where communication skills and professional expertise go hand in hand.
We Are Looking for You Who
Have a background in electrical work and feel confident working independently in a property operations and management environment. Electrical license B is a requirement. Electrical training or experience as an electrician is a merit, but what matters most is your practical expertise and your ability to troubleshoot and find solutions in everyday situations.
You are good at communicating in Swedish and English with our tenants.
