Do you want to work practically in a varied role where you contribute to safe, functional and well-maintained properties? We are now looking for a property technician with a focus on construction/carpentry who wants to be part of Magna's property department. As a property technician, you work with construction and carpentry work in our properties with both production environments and offices – from repairs and adaptations to improvements and preventive maintenance. You drive your work independently in your daily tasks and collaborate closely with colleagues based on the needs of the business. Together you contribute to ensuring that our properties are safe, function as they should and maintain high quality over time. The role includes, among other things: Carry out construction and carpentry-related property work, including repairs, renovations, adaptations and preventive maintenance. Ensure that work is planned, executed, followed up and documented in accordance with applicable laws, standards, internal procedures and planned maintenance. Work for high safety, good working environment and reduced environmental impact, including responsibility for Hot Work and 5S as well as participation in safety rounds and audits. Support the property department through collaboration with other property technicians and perform common tasks as needed. Responsible for purchasing consumable materials related to property and carpentry work and work cost-effectively. Contribute to development and improvement of working methods, procedures and processes and serve as a mentor for new employees and hired personnel. Qualifications As a person, you are proactive, solution-oriented and enjoy a practical and varied role. You take responsibility for your tasks, work in a structured manner and have a high quality and safety mindset. You collaborate well with colleagues in the property department and with other functions in the organization and easily build trusting relationships in a dynamic environment. To succeed in the role, we would like to see that you have: Education in construction and carpentry and/or documented professional experience in construction or building construction Experience in property maintenance and construction-related work Good technical and practical skills in building construction and carpentry work Good knowledge of working environment, safety and relevant regulations At least 3 years of experience in the profession or are a completed apprentice, as the role periodically involves working independently.
