As a facilities technician, you will be placed in the technical administration, property management department. Today, 7 technicians work with us, collectively responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties. As a facilities technician, you will be part of our group of facilities technicians. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operation and future development of the municipality's properties. You will work with energy optimization, control and monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, and care of the municipality's properties. Responsibility for systematic fire protection work, operation of fire alarm systems, Category 4 boilers, swimming facility, and supervision of backup power systems are included in the position. You will have responsibility for your own area, and within this area you will be responsible for patrols, inspections, and maintenance. You will participate in planning preventive maintenance work. The position includes work at heights, such as roof work. In your role, you will have independent and engaging work that includes a large network of contacts both internally and externally. On-call duty is part of the position, with a 60-minute response time. A police certificate is required. QUALIFICATIONS To work as a facilities technician, we hope you have at least 3-5 years of practical experience as a facilities technician or other experience deemed equivalent. It is desirable if you have training, certifications, or experience in areas such as electrical, energy, ventilation/plumbing, cooling, or controls and regulations. You are accustomed to working both in groups and independently with daily customer contact, and as a person you are service-oriented, a creative problem-solver, and outgoing. You need to be flexible and able to reschedule your work day on short notice together with your responsible supervisor. Furthermore, we appreciate if you are a curious person with initiative who creates positive contacts, both internally and externally. Heavy lifting occurs, which requires good physical fitness. We place great importance on personal qualities and are seeking someone who is goal-oriented, has good collaboration skills, and a clear and structured work approach. Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement. Of course, you have good computer skills. A manual Class B driver's license is a requirement. It is desirable if you also have ADR1:3 certification, a BE driver's license, and lift training. You will have the opportunity to develop within your profession and eventually take on greater responsibility, so we would like people who want to grow and develop to apply to us.
