Property Technician for Malå Municipality
Malå Municipality is seeking a practical and responsible property technician with an interest in real estate, technology, and service.
The position is fundamentally a custodial role involving practical work in the municipality's properties, but also includes expanded responsibility in housing adaptation, systematic fire safety work (SBA), fire alarms, and ventilation.
Job Responsibilities
As a property technician, you will work with ongoing maintenance, care, and practical measures in the municipality's properties. The position also includes:
handling and coordinating housing adaptation matters, including home visits, contact with applicants and contractors, and follow-up on measures
conducting fire safety inspections and working with the municipality's systematic fire safety program
performing ongoing inspection, testing, and basic maintenance of fire alarms and related fire safety equipment, and coordinating external service interventions as needed
inspecting ventilation systems and planning and monitoring ventilation certification (OVK) and related measures
documenting completed inspections and maintaining relevant records up to date
The role involves both practical work in the properties and administrative work including planning, documentation, and follow-up.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking someone who is practical, solution-oriented, and enjoys taking independent responsibility. You work in a structured and independent manner while also being able to collaborate easily and maintain contact with operations, private individuals, and contractors.
We would appreciate it if you have:
experience in property maintenance, custodial work, construction, or other technical work
good practical and technical understanding
basic computer skills and the ability to document your work
a Class B driver's license
Experience with SBA, fire alarms, ventilation, housing adaptation, or property management is a merit.
