We are now looking for a property caretaker who wants to be an important part of the operation and help create pleasant, well-maintained properties for today's and tomorrow's tenants. Job Description Would you like a varied role where you can take on significant responsibility, work closely with people, and be part of developing properties long-term? As a property caretaker at Paxon, you get a varied day where no two days are the same. You are responsible for handling maintenance requests and repair work in a professional and efficient manner, while also playing an important role in contact with tenants and contractors. You work independently and plan much of your own day, while also collaborating closely with the company's owners and other team members. Your main duties include: • Handling and following up on maintenance requests from initial report to completed solution • Performing basic troubleshooting and assessing when external contractors need to be hired • Carrying out ongoing property maintenance • Performing minor carpentry work, small renovations, and refresh projects • Maintaining order and organization of tools, materials, and storage • Managing common areas and assisting with basic exterior maintenance • Having daily contact with tenants, contractors, and colleagues • Assisting with inspections and other property-related activities as needed The role offers significant freedom with responsibility and suits you if you thrive on taking your own initiative and driving tasks forward. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is practical, self-motivated, and service-oriented. You enjoy solving problems, take responsibility for your work, and feel confident making decisions on your own. To succeed in this role, we see that you: • Have experience with practical work in property management, construction, trades, or a similar field • Are skilled at planning, prioritizing, and organizing your work independently • Work proactively and easily turn challenges into concrete solutions • Are social, professional, and enjoy interacting with people • Have the ability to be both clear and service-oriented when communicating with tenants and contractors • Are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written • Have a B-class driver's license It is a plus if you have knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and hold a lift certificate. Personal qualities will carry significant weight in the recruitment process.
