Description As a property caretaker with us, you are an important part of an engaged team responsible for the operation of the municipality's properties, from schools and preschools to elderly care facilities, group living facilities, libraries, town halls, and sports facilities. Together we make Kungälv a little better! Work Tasks You work together with supervisory property managers and approximately ten other property caretakers. Together you are responsible for planning and implementing efficient and fit-for-purpose facility maintenance. The role includes inspections, corrective maintenance, and addressing fault reports. The unit also includes technical managers and operations technicians who are responsible for overarching control and regulation systems for plumbing, locks, alarms, and access systems. You make purchases and order work that you do not handle yourself from our framework agreement suppliers. You follow up to ensure the work is completed to the desired standard and subsequently process the invoice. As a property caretaker with us, you are also responsible for grounds maintenance of your properties. Work at heights may occur. On-call duty may be included in the position. Green space maintenance and snow/ice management are performed by contracted entrepreneurs. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have relevant education within the property industry (or other practical/technical education that the employer considers equivalent) and at least 1 year of experience in the property industry. You are a service-oriented person who enjoys problem-solving and adapt to different situations and people. You are accustomed to taking responsibility for your work tasks and working in a structured manner. It is advantageous if you have any of the following certifications: Grounds Maintenance Technician, Skylift, or Hot Work. You have sufficient IT skills to manage digital case handling systems, orders, and invoices. The role requires you to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and to hold a valid driving license category B. We welcome your application!
