The Permits & Rights unit works to secure and manage new concessions and rights for power lines, which are prerequisites for the company to build and maintain the electricity grid. Today we are approximately 55 people in the unit working in four departments located in different locations from north to south. You will become part of an engaged team that works together. As a real estate law specialist, you will work closely with project managers, technical specialists, permit specialists, consultants, and other parts of the business. You will independently manage qualified real estate law matters and serve as specialist support in projects where new power lines and stations are planned, built, or modified. You will contribute legal, strategic, and practical assessments within land access and real estate law. The role involves both operational project work and responsibility for contributing to quality, standardized working methods, and development of the business's processes. Your main areas of responsibility include: Contributing real estate law expertise to major investment projects in which new power lines or stations are planned and designed Manage and lead consultants Represent the company in cadastral surveys Participate in rights investigations Secure land access and carry out property acquisitions within Vattenfall Eldistribution's project operations Participate in physical consultation meetings in grid projects Contribute to developing the business and our processes Requirements We are looking for someone who has: A university or college education in surveying, forestry/agronomy, law with a focus on real estate law, or civil engineering. Alternatively, other education combined with experience deemed equivalent Several years of current and relevant work experience with qualified real estate law, land access, or related matters Ability to express yourself professionally in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English Driver's license category B (travel is part of the job) It is advantageous if you have experience in any or several of the following areas: Land access in infrastructure or energy projects Property acquisition and negotiation with property owners Utility easements, easements, and other usufruct matters Handling or participation in cadastral surveys Compensation and valuation issues Forest or agricultural valuation Review and quality assurance of consultant deliverables We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
