The Permits & Rights unit works to secure and manage new concessions and rights for power lines, which are prerequisites for the company to build and maintain the electricity grid. We currently have approximately 55 people in the unit working in four departments located at different locations from north to south. In Solna and Uppsala, the department works with transmission line and substation projects in central Sweden. The department has a broad area of responsibility and there is opportunity to tailor your specific contributions based on your profile and experience. As a real estate law specialist, you will work with challenging and varied tasks within the real estate law field. Your main areas of responsibility include: Contributing real estate law expertise to major investment projects involving new power lines or substations being planned and designed Managing and leading consultants Representing the company in land surveying procedures Participating in rights investigations Securing land access and conducting real estate acquisitions within Vattenfall Eldistribution's project operations Participating in physical coordination meetings in transmission line projects Contributing to developing the business and our processes Job Requirements We are looking for you who have: A university education of at least 180 credits (120 points) in surveying, forestry/agronomy, law with a focus on real estate law, or civil engineering. Alternatively, other education combined with experience deemed equivalent Several years of current and relevant work experience in real estate law matters Ability to express yourself professionally in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English B-class driver's license It is a merit if you have experience in one or more of the following areas: Land access in infrastructure projects Real estate acquisitions Forest and/or agricultural valuation Handling land surveying procedures GIS We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You thrive in a role with many contact points and have an aptitude for building good relationships, both internally and externally. At the same time, you are confident in representing the business in dialogues and negotiations, even when issues meet resistance.
