About the Role As a Real Estate Engineer/Facility Manager, you will be responsible for both the day-to-day technical management and long-term development of our properties within the Bus Business Area. The role is broad, independent, and close to operations – with a focus on ensuring reliable, efficient, and sustainable property solutions that support our transportation production. Your main workplace will be at the head office in Sickla, with close collaboration with colleagues and functions throughout the organization. Your Main Areas of Responsibility In this role, you'll have overall responsibility for property matters – from technical operations and maintenance to budgeting, follow-up, and strategic development. You will, among other things: • Manage technical operations, maintenance, and development of the property portfolio • Identify needs, conduct technical investigations, and propose improvement measures • Ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures for property operations • Lead and coordinate maintenance projects, repairs, and development initiatives • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders • Work with budgeting, procurement, contracts, negotiations, and financial follow-up • Drive long-term planning and development of property management Who Are You? • University education in real estate technology, construction, engineering, or another relevant field • Experience in technical property management, operations, and maintenance • Ability to work both operatively and strategically, preferably in a role with management responsibility • Good knowledge of building regulations, regulatory requirements, operations technology, and property development • Experience with budgeting, procurement, contract management, and supplier oversight It is a merit if you have experience working according to ISO 55000 or equivalent approaches to asset management. As a person, you are organized, solution-oriented, and confident in making decisions. You find it easy to build strong collaborations, communicate clearly, and thrive in a role where you can switch between strategic matters and practical problem-solving.
