We are now looking for a real estate engineer with technical expertise in BMS and HVAC for a role where quality, energy efficiency, and development are in focus. <img src="https://sae3ndp007.blob.core.windows.net/swe/ef841c8b-8d11-4a4c-bd9d-e490f6216966.jpg"> About the Position As a real estate engineer within BMS, you are responsible for developing, quality assuring, and monitoring the city's technical installations within control, regulation, and monitoring as well as heating and ventilation. The role is central to ensuring energy efficiency, operational reliability, and long-term sustainability in the city's properties. Responsibilities Develop and maintain the city's technical requirements and guidelines within BMS and HVAC. Review technical documentation before and after procurement. Support project managers and project stakeholders throughout the building process as a specialist. Manage BMS systems such as Web Port, Schneider EBO, and Siemens Desigo CC. Ensure quality in contracts and monitor service and operational agreements. Handle regulatory inspections: procurement, ordering, and control. Contribute to developing long-term maintenance plans for technical installations. Provide technical support in planning and procurement. Monitor finances and perform invoice reviews. Be the contact person with consultants and contractors. Provide specialist support to facility managers and other functions within city maintenance. Quality assurance and monitoring of energy data: Ensures that measurements of energy and media consumption are accurate, and handles invoices and budget control. Analysis and reporting: Responsible for energy analyses and monitoring of key metrics using energy requirement calculations and statistical methods. Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant higher education or vocational training in HVAC, energy, real estate technology, or equivalent experience acquired through comparable professional experience. You have solid experience with control, regulation, and monitoring systems (BMS) as well as HVAC installations and are well versed in contract law and the various stages of the building process. Furthermore, you have experience with procurement and review of technical documentation, which enables you to contribute in both early stages and during implementation and monitoring of projects. You have good knowledge of BMS systems such as Web Port, Schneider EBO, and Siemens Desigo CC, as well as a good understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability principles. You are accustomed to analyzing technical requirements and ensuring that agreements and deliveries are followed up in a structured and quality-conscious manner. To thrive and succeed in the role, you are organized and thorough with good problem-solving skills. You are communicative and collaborative, with experience working with various stakeholders and professional roles. At the same time, you are independent and proactive, with a clear drive to contribute to the development and improvement of working methods and technical solutions.
