1 position(s). Do you want to be part of developing the municipalities' properties of the future? We are now looking for a property engineer with a focus on installation and energy who wants to take a key role in the development of our technical systems and be important support to both construction projects and operations. At the Technical Office, we work to create sustainable, functional, and cost-effective environments for Vetlanda's residents. The Property Department is responsible for new construction, renovation, operations, maintenance, and management of the municipality's buildings. We are approximately 100 employees and manage around 240,000 square meters of facilities, from preschools, schools, and retirement homes to sports facilities and cultural properties. As a property engineer, you work with coordinating, developing, and quality-assuring technical installations in the municipality's property portfolio. The role is a specialist function with primary responsibility for driving and coordinating the property department's work on energy efficiency, while you also contribute technical analysis and specialist support to both construction project managers and the operations organization. The assignment includes: - Providing specialist support within ventilation, heating, cooling, electrical, control and regulation technology, alarm systems, and other technical installations - Supporting construction project managers on technical issues throughout the project process - Supporting the operations organization with complex technical problems and investigations - Analyzing recurring operational disruptions and proposing improvement measures - Developing technical specification requirements, standards, and guidelines - Reviewing technical documentation and proposed solutions - Participating in design, inspections, and operations handovers - Leading and coordinating work on energy monitoring, energy optimization, and energy efficiency measures in the property portfolio - Contributing to maintenance and reinvestment planning of technical systems - Developing technical investigations and decision-making documents The role involves many contact points and significant personal responsibility, with the opportunity to influence the municipality's technical development in both the short and long term. You take initiative, drive issues forward in an independent manner, and can explain technical issues so they become understandable to different audiences. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: - Higher education or vocational higher education in installation technology, energy, electrical, ventilation, building technology, or equivalent education and experience - Several years of experience with technical installations in properties - Experience with technical investigations, design, operations, or technical management - Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written - Class B driver's license You have broad technical understanding of property installations and good knowledge within installation technology, ventilation, heating, cooling, and control and regulation technology. You are experienced in working with technical analyses, investigations, and energy efficiency, and you feel comfortable using digital working methods and administrative systems as support in your work. It is a merit if you have experience with construction or installation projects, energy monitoring and optimization work, or work within consulting, contracting, or client operations.
